Regional / Mobile Services
Regardless of location, athletes are supported to access quality coaching, services and facilities. The program supports and allows elite athletes to remain in their home environment therefore minimising disruption to family, career anf education pursuits.
Key support provided by NSWIS to regional athletes includes:
* Coaching and training opportunities
* Facility and gym access
* Travel support
* High performance services
The State Government supports the delivery of the Regional / Mobile Program which benefits around 220 athletes across 28 sport programs.
Depending upon the sport and location of athletes, high performance services may be delivered by:
* NSWIS 'central' service providers either at NSWIS or at home based training locations
* Local 'regional' service providers at home based training locations outside of the metropolitan area.

Emerging Talent
The NSWIS Emerging Talent Programs aim to identify, motivate and recognise talented junior athletes who have produced outstanding results or have shown potential to achieve NSWIS selection standards and world-class results in the future.
