Olympic bronze medallist Andrew Lauterstein will joins NSWIS coach Grant Stoelwinder’s elite swim squad, as he prepares to launch an assault on Michael Phelps. The squad already contains superstars Eamon Sullivan and Libby Trickett with Lauterstein only adding to the firepower.
Originally from Melbourne, Laurterstein decided he had outgrown his current squad, and the opportunity to train with some on the world’s best sprinter was something he could not turn down.
Lauterstein will move to Sydney in November where he will start training for the upcoming FINA World Championship selection trials.
