Seven NSWIS scholarship holders have been selected as part of an 18 man Australian Under-16 soccer team. They will fly into Jakarta to take part in the Asean Football Federation Youth Championship.
Kerem Bulut is the only player making his debut on this trip and he will be joined by fellow NSWIS scholarship holders Brendan Hamill, Marc Warren, Lawrence Thomas, Nikola Stanojevic, Jared Lum and Robert Kolak.
The tournament schedule will see the Qantas Joeys play four matches in six days with finals to be held on 19 July. This is all part of their preparation for the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) Under 16 Championships, held later in the year.
