The Australia Men's Wheelchair Basketball team, featuring five NSWIS athletes, have won a gold medal after defeating Canada in the final match.
Troy Sachs, Brett Stibners, Grant Mizens, Tristan Knowles and Brendan Dowler all performed strongly in the match, with Sachs contributing 19 points and sevenr rebounds in the 72-60 win.
The gold medal reverses the heartbreak of the Athens campaign where they lost to Canada in the final.
