NSWIS Sailor Malcolm Page

Malcolm Page, (born 22 March 1972) is an elite sailor in the 470s class. At the age of 18 Page took on the yachting world, competing at World Championships, ISAF Sailing Games and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
 
In 2005, Page and skipper Nathan Wilmot made sailing history when they became the first team in 22 years to win two consecutive men’s 470 class World Championships. They also won the 2006 Sail Melbourne 470 class and the 470 National Championships as well as the ISAF World Sailing Games in Austria in May.
 
At the 2006 Qingdao International Regatta in Rizhao, Page was appointed team captain of the Australian Sailing Team, an honour bestowed on him due to his outstanding commitment to the team. The 2004 and 2005 World Champions took silver at the 2006 World Championships in Rizaho, to claim their fifth medal from six World Championships.
 
Page has been an NSWIS Scholarship holder in the Sailing Program since 2001. He won the NSWIS Team Athlete of the Year (Small Teams) in 2005.
